September 11 was a difficult day for me - one of the few days when I was glad I wasn't on the air. I was going to avoid it all together just play happy songs and barely mention it. But it was 20 years and it is a searing memory for most if not all the listeners of my station. I reached out to my friends and listeners, especially one who was there on 9/11 and let them tell their stories.
